Thomas Sowell on the American Spirit
February 25th 2009 23:41
Commentator Thomas Sowell has recently posted an article on Townhall.com, that goes to the very heart of it is to be an American.
Instead of commenting like I usually do, this time I’ll refrain and let the editorial stand on its own. I just figure that anyone with some knowledge of the Pacific War, or who recognizes that American men and women are willing to risk death, in Iraq, Afghanistan, or anywhere else they’re called to serve, or who remembers the national (and world) attitude right after 9/11, probably knows what I would say anyway.
A Fatal Trajectory
Why is it that the people who claim to be the only real Americans think so little of America?
